How does P.A.W.S. work?
At West Park Elementary, there is a team of staff composed of administrators, behavior specialists, general and special education teachers, and/or support staff and parents who work together to develop and implement strategies, defining goals, and monitoring progress as it relates to positive behavior interventions and supports. This team meets on a monthly basis while ensuring that ALL school staff is informed and involved in the decision-making process for correcting and reinforcing behaviors. It is a School-wide Team Effort!
