Director's Message

My name is Ruben Martinez, it is with great pride to serve as Director of Charter Schools for West Park Charter Academy.  A brief background on myself, before becoming an educator, I served as a police officer for two years, before recognizing my calling as an educator.  I have over 25 years of experience in education.  I served as an elementary and middle school teacher, continuation and independent studies teacher, and served as principal for court and community schools.  Here at WPCA I plan to adhere to our district's mission and continue to provide the best education for our students.

As Director I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you and to provide every student a school experience that prepares them to their full potential. 

It’s a privilege to be the Director at WPCA and I look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with each and every one of you.
